Dr Shen is one of the world's leading experts and entrepreneurs in the hydrogen industry. In 1998, Dr Shen established Palcan Energy in Canada, a global hydrogen and fuel cell industry pioneer. In the last 25 years, Dr Shen has been active in research and development. He has been granted 87 patents and won numerous prizes.

Dr Shen is a panel member of the National Research Council fuel cell program, a board member of Fuel Cell Canada, and a member of the Scholarships and Fellowships Selection Committee for NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada). He sit on the ISO standard committee for hydrogen and fuel cell (ISO/TC 197) for 18 years. After he brought business to China in 2009, Dr Shen was awarded the Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award for 100 Overseas Chinese by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of China's State Council, "Top Ten New Energy Persons of the Year", in 2018 and other honours.

As a veteran in the hydrogen industry, Dr Shen is fully aware of the difficulties in promoting hydrogen energy, thus, has been committed to finding a cost-effective, safe and reliable solution to the commercialization of hydrogen energy. Dr Shen and his team chose a green liquid fuel, methanol, as the hydrogen carrier to develop and promote methanol-reformed hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, as the first team to introduce methanol-reformed hydrogen fuel cells into China. In 2020, "Methanol Reforming Hydrogen Generation and Hydrogen-Electric Hybrid Fuel Cell System Technology", developed by Palcan was rated as "International Leading" by China Petroleum and Chemical Federation and won the ministerial "First Prize for Scientific and Technological Invention." Under Dr Shen's leadership, Palcan is heading on a new journey to industrialize its technologies and products.

Mr. Dadson is a grauate of law from the University of British Columbis and BSc in biochemsitry at University of Manitoba. Mr. Dadson practiced Corporate Law until 1984 after which he has held several senior executive positions in technology businesses, both private and public.

Mr. Dadson has been active in a number of Chinese based ventures. He is Co-Chairman, Hansen Investment Limited, a private Chinese holding company with holdings in real estate and recource development in China.

Mr Dadson has been continually active in a number of Chinese based ventures since 1984 Bridging the cultures and practices of China and the West during the formative years of China's emergence has given Mr. Dadson unique hands on perspective about doing business in China.

Mr Dadson has been actively associated with Palcan since 2000.

Dr. Dong received his B.Sc. of Mechanical Engineering from Beijing University of Technology in 1981, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. of Mechanical Engineering from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, State University of New York at Buffalo from 1985 to 1989.

Dr. Dong is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Victoria (UVic) and a member of the Institute of Integrated Energy Systems (IESVic) at UVic. Dr. Dong is an expert on computer-aided design, advanced manufacturing, design optimization and fuel cell design and manufacturing.

Mr. Tomlinson has completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Pretoria Technikon and a Management Development Program (MDP) from the University of Stellenbosch Business School in Cape Town, South Africa.

Mr. Tomlinson has many years of system design, integration, and project management experience ranging from military to aerospace applications. He has done global market and product strategy development for complex aerospace systems and has experience in marketing, sales, and operations for products such as specialized industrial equipment and automobiles and has founded and operated an import business.
